What makes fairafric chocolate particularly sustainable?
We produce 100% of our chocolate in the country of origin. Our cocoa comes from regenerative farming, our factory runs on solar energy, and our packaging is becoming more sustainable step by step. This protects ecosystems, strengthens the soil, and reduces our ecological footprint.
Why is production in Ghana so important?
Although West Africa grows the majority of the world's cocoa, only a very small portion of the chocolate is produced there. Through production in Ghana, more value creation remains locally, jobs are created, and we are changing the structures of the chocolate industry.
